I'm stuck on the apt-get updates and upgrades. I'm getting failed to fetch errors. Can someone give me step by step to get it running?

W: Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/intrepid-updates/multiverse/source/Sources.gz  404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.92.169 80]

E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I just installed 0810 Beta 2 DVD. Once I installed installed linuxmce, I received the Failed to setup X in AV Wizard. Can someone give me step by step process to get it running?

I'm having problems installing 0710 on my new pc. Is it the motherboard? A black screen appears (never finish installing). Here are the specs:

I just reinstalled linuxmce. Under Add software I do not see any options to add additional software or the DVDCSS. It's blank. I just put in a old dvd drive in the MD. Please help.
