Actually, I finally figured out the problem after 1/2 day.
I was using XArchiver to recombine the archive and it never gave any errors, but did not recreate the original ISO.

You have to use HJSplit to recombine it, because this is what the uploader used  ???
I couldn't get the dang'd Linux version of the program installed on my Linux box so I had too go to a winblows computer to extract the files so I could install a Linux machine. It was really frustrating, couldn't believe they did that. I mean, use .rar or something!

Anyway, I burned the ISO and everything seemed to go fine but the install crashed out on my notebook. I guess my intel based HP DV9200 MCE notebook with HP Digital / Analog Expresscard TV Tuner are not supported at all. I couldn't even get past the black screen with all the text so I guess I'll have to try another distribution. Other distributions work fine if I pull the TV card out, but that was the whole point of this one.  :-\

How do I burn the Rapidshare ISO because it's a folder which ends in .ISO ???  :'(
I've been pulling my hair out on this one. It too me forever to download all these files, then when I decompress them, I am left with a folder named LinuxMCE_0704_Quick_Install_DVD.iso, but not an actual ISO file which can be burned???

Have I screwed something up, or did someone not create the achieve properly?
I don't know the proper commands to create a bootable DVD image from the folder?
