Installation issues / Dianemo: Licence doesn't match this machine.
« on: March 08, 2012, 10:11:45 pm »
Hello,
Long story short, I had to reinstall Dianemo. I installed my key, and then ran the installer. The install fails. The error says, "The licence doesn't match this machine. Please get in touch to resolve this problem."
How do I go about fixing this? Thanks.

Users / Dianemo: NAS not being detected?
« on: December 23, 2011, 01:51:34 am »
Hello,
  My NAS share is not being detected.... I ran: /usr/pluto/bin/MessageSend dcerouter 0 -1001 2 65 52 3 53 2 5 "X" 28 "Y" with the proper data... then I ran  "/usr/pluto/bin/MessageSend dcerouter 0 -1001 2 65 52 3 53 2 49 1837", then I ran "/usr/pluto/bin/MessageSend dcerouter <device id> -1001 2 65 52 3 53 2 49 1768" The system found my NAS and it found the share, but it didnt really detect anything.... after double checking ... it just now detected the file system and free disk space, but there have been no media files detected. I'm at a loss. Thanks.

Users / 2 padorbiter issues
« on: November 27, 2011, 03:34:14 am »
Hello,
The first issue is trying to compile a driver for a wpc600n pcmcia card.... I tried doing it on the webdt366 itself but it seems gcc isnt included on the padorbiter distro... I also tried to do it inside an esxi 4.1 vm but I couldnt even get that to boot to a terminal. If anyone out there could walk me thru the process of getting the RA2860 drivers compiled on the webdt 366.

My other issue is what is the process of getting the new 1004 splash screen on the webdt..... I like it better then the older one.... thanks in advanced.... ttyl.

Users / Issue running LinuxMCE on ESXi
« on: July 23, 2011, 05:50:46 pm »
Hello all,
For a while now I've been running LinuxMCE on ESXi, and it runs great. Except for one thing, when ever I am in the LinuxMCE VM on the vSphere client, single mouse clicks are interpreted as double mouse clicks. Is anyone else out there running into the same issue? Also, when should I install the VMware Tools on the VM, before the apt-get updates, after the updates or after linuxmce installer script? Or does it even matter?

Thanks.

Users / Configuring TDM410p Card
« on: December 11, 2010, 08:57:47 pm »
Hello all,

I am getting ready to setup my TDM410p card. I am trying to put a bunch of sources together and after I am done I plan on making a Wiki page after I get it done. To top it off.... I not used to working with all the extra config files that LMCE throws into the asterisk mix. My TDM card has 2 fxs modules (ports 1 and 2) and 2 fxo modules (ports 3 and 4). Port 3 is a U.S. lingo voip connection via hardware, and Port 4 is going to be a German Analog connection via a wall outlet.

So here is what I can deduce.... I need to apt-get install zaptel. (what about the dahdi) after that I need to configure the /etc/zaptel.conf file. Then switch Asterisk into manual mode via the LMCE admin. Add a dial rule.

This is where I am questioning what I am doing.... okay... actually this is where I am stuck.... I cant get a dialtone on my cisco 7961 ip phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Another thing can I have different zones configured for the two different fxo ports?

Thanks.

Users / Cell Phone, Bluetooth and Asterisk? Anyone Done it?
« on: December 08, 2010, 07:08:28 pm »
I've done some searching and I have not be able to find anything about it. I don't know if it's because I am not using the right keywords.

Here is what I had in mind: After you get home, you charge your cell phone next to your LMCE server. The server then connects to the cell phone via Bluetooth. When someone calls your cell phone, your phones connected to your LMCE ring and allow you to answer the cell call.

Has anyone attempted this or made it work?

Thanks.

Users / Not sure whats wrong.
« on: December 05, 2010, 12:17:20 am »
Hello all,
I have a Hybrid core up and running great.... svn 23438. Everytime the Diskless MD boots, it boots to a blank screen. I can SSH into the MD after it boots, but it continues to have a blank screen after startup. I am running a XFX GeForce 7950 via Component. I can see the kubuntu splash, after that it becomes blank. The FAQ on the wiki was no help, I tried to run the /usr/pluto/bin/RebootWithAVWizard with no avail. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks.

Users / Having issues with Diskless MDs and svn 23259 (0810)
« on: August 28, 2010, 09:29:52 pm »
Hello,
At one time (I want to say one of the june snapshots) I was able to get the Diskless MD's working, now with the latest snapshot I cant get any diskless MD to work. Here is what happens; The MD boots and runs the diskless setup script, it completes and then it runs thru all the services. After that the TV flickers a few times and then it stops at the pxelinux.0 part of the bootup.... stalls and then there is the kubuntu shutdown splash screen. After it reboots and does the process all over again. This happens with both(all) my diskless MD's. One is an Asus M3A78-EM, with a Nvidia GT220. The other is a Jetway J7F2WE2G, with an Unichrome Pro. Each one of these boards only have one NIC, the intigrated ATI is disabled in the bios on the M3A78-EM, and I've done everything I can find on the wiki.
Anyone out there able to help? If you need more info about anything, let me know.

Thanks...

Users / Video Card Suggestion
« on: July 12, 2010, 09:19:12 pm »
Hello again,
I am trying to find a near silent card that supports 1080p with HDMI audio out support.... oh and trying to not spend alot of money. I have seen posts but none of the posts I've seen mention anything about the sound level of the card. This is going in a wooden case so a little bit of sound isn't too bad, just want it to be as silent as possible for a little cost... Thanks.

Users / asus m3a78-em issues
« on: July 10, 2010, 09:32:31 pm »
Hello,
I am using my asus m3a78-em as a diskless MD, and with UI2 medium and UI2 with alpha blending the screen flickers while the onscreen orbiter is up, as well as no sound all via the HDMI. I've seen posts in fourms and wiki's saying that people have resolved these issues, but I cant find the part on how they resolved them. Can someone help me with this or push me in the right direction. I am using 0810.

Thanks
