Users / Asterisk on 10.04 with IAX

Hi Guys

I have installed LMCE1004 and are testing the Asterisk setup.
Ok let me mention what I had a IAX connection to my VoIP provide on Trixbox and it work with no issue when I got my registration setting in.

So I wanted to see if I could get this working on LMCE.
It is a clean install of LMCE with no changes. I setup my connection to my VoIP provider and I get a confirmation from the provider that I am register to them over IAX.
"(Authenticated using the IAX2 protocol)"

However when I call, It just goes to Voice mail on the provider side. When I had this with Trixbox I need to put in the trunk option for it to worked (from-trunk). but I can't do this on LMCE.
So I am not sure if it is Asterisk that does not work or something that I have not done right.

Can any one please help me to get this working. Cause then I can move over to using LMCE.

I had an unknown error in the logs at some point put nothing anymore.
"NotifyHangup channel SIP/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx-00000002, reason Unknown"

Users / USB Capture Card supported by LMCE

Hi Guys

I have finally got my core working like a train on steroids on my ASRock 3300 ION box.
I have my phone line setup and a Web orbiter with the new Web orbiter 2.
thanks a lot for your guys help and hats off to the devs..

I want to ask for some help on getting a device that will one work in LMCE and do what I need it to.
I have a NZ Sky myHDi PVR satellite box that I want to connect to LMCE. http://www.skytv.co.nz/my-sky-hdi.aspx. This box has no RF out puts so makes is hard. I was trying to find info on if I can use my old Slingbox but that is shitt cause we can't get the stream out of it.
I don't need a TV card cause I have my HDhomeRun. So I was more looking for a USB capture card.
Because of the small form of the ASRock I cant install a PCI card, need a USB one.
Can anyone recommend one that will work out of the box with LMCE?

Users / MythTV 0.23

Hey

I just want to find out if LMCE is going to upgrade to MythTV 0.23?
I have been using the defaults on LMCE and it was using avenard repo that was setup when I installed. But as I understand avenard is dropping support for 8.10. Would LMCE still be supporting this?
MythTV 0.23 will fix a lot of tv problems I am having here in NZ.

Hi guys

Can I move back to 0.21 without reinstalling my system?
I have a problem with my HDHomerun DVB-T that looks like will not get fixed in 0.22
here is the ticket.

Users / HDMI Audio on ASRock 330 ION

Hi

Has anyone got HDMI Audio working on any of the 330 ION products?
I have 3 ASRock 330 ION and can get everything working besides for the HDMI Audio.
Can anyone give me advice on this?
I have tried everything I can think of. Updated Alsa to 1.0.21a, change the asound to everything I can find on the net and no go..
Let me know what info you need I will supply

Feature requests & roadmap / MythTV Backend reset

Hi Guys

Is there away we can get a MythTV backend reset option in Advance.
Mythtv have asked me to restart the backend a few time and seeing that I do not have a keyboard on my MD makes it very hard..

Users / ASRock 330 ION As MD

Hi Guys

I am looking to find some info on getting the ASRock 330 ION working as an MD.
I have setup MD's on my core before but this one looks like it does not see the router.
It start booking and then half way it give and error can't see the routed then say shutdown all MD's. Then just keep doing this in a loop.
Can any one be any help in getting this running please..
This is a cool piece of hardware and I think it will be great as a MD.

Users / Data Disk lost after latest update

Hi Guys

I have just updated my core and now my data disk with all my movies and music does not want to mount.
It was working fine before the update. Was there something changed and this is a known problem?
if not let me know then I will send you the logs..
I can see on the Orbiter it is loading but is not showing any movies under media. When I look in webmin it say device not registered..
Please let me know if this can be fixed.

Users / 810 Alpha 7 No DVD playback sound

Hi

I have been banging my head on this.
First my specs;
Asus M3N-H/HDMI,
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0 GHz
LinuxMCE 810 Alpha 7
Kernel 2.6.28-11
alsa 1.1.20
SPDIF sound output.

Now I have installed the system all works good after the kernel and alsa upgrade. I have sound on my Movies and Music. But on my DVD playback I have nothing..
the video goes but not a beep out if the sound..
So on another disk I installed mythbuntu and tested the same hardware, to make sure it works. and what you know with kernel 2.6.28 and alsa 1.1.20 over SPDIF all works like it should..

I don't know where to start looking.

My conclusion I can make..
1) the Hardware work
2) kernel 2.6.28 with the alsa 1.1.20 work..


Can some one help me to try and fine out how I can fix this..
