Users / Zwave lighting floorplan
« on: January 09, 2009, 05:02:33 pm »
Hi guys,

I had all my Zwave devices controllable via the floorplan up until I added an event handler to my living room lights.  Now my family room lights disappeared from the floorplan.  When i go to the floorplan in pluto-admin, the family room device is not even listed, so i can't just drag and drop it back on the floorplan.  nothing was deleted, only an event was added.  All devices are still controllable by the autogenerated on/off scenarios, but do not show up on the floorplan anymore.  By the way, i swapped out the old zwave driver to see if it would solve the issue.  What took place and how do i fix it? ???

There is not anything in the wiki or elsewhere about the WAYNE-DALTON Z-WAVE® THERMOSTAT that i can find.  Anybody know anything about it, such as linuxmce support or perhapes one around the same price point?

Thanks.

Users / is it possible
« on: June 06, 2008, 04:08:45 am »
Build a decent performing media director for video/audio for under $150, is it possible?  What hardware would be suggested, taking into consideration form factor as a priority??? I understand that intel mini-itx mainboards such as the J9F2 would be prefered over via boards but the cost is also an issue. any input???

Are there any z wave interfaces that work out of the box, without having to add any drivers?

I'm a newbie in linuxmce with kubuntu.  I have been trying to get my z wave usb ha22 stick working.....but i'm stuck at this part listed in on one of these posts

Get the driver
Check out the driver from the repository:

linuxmce@dcerouter:/tmp$ svn co http://svn.charonmedia.org/svn/vendor/spcp8x5
A    spcp8x5/spcp8x5.c
A    spcp8x5/Makefile
Checked out revision 1512.

I typed it into konsole, it is telling me no such file or directory

please tell me directions in layman's terms
