i hope the new release will fix and add the most wanted function in playing media files and other accessory we are willing to wait longer to get it. im eager to see what new update will hid for us.

inside LMCE after one day i found in the screen update Available but i got only tow Icon (X) and return, so what should i do to get that update installed. any idea what is included in the update

Users / can i use Fiire Chief Remote Control with other Media Center

i wonder if i can use it with showshifter or other media center, also is there any tools to allow me to use it with other media center.

i just received Fiire Chief but in LMCE the media is not showing as i wish (folder view), its also annoying when u close video u need to click on ur user name to get the video that belong to u or all the time u will get Public video. Fiire Chief cost me 170$ and i want to be able to get what i pay for.
i try it with all windows media center and its just look like wireless gyro mouse (frankly speaking i was amaze by that function) but only FF/RR stop and move in the menu working not but not with all.

what is the standered of Fiire Chief

Users / qustion about usb/network drive

hi,
 i have made some share folder and its added to LMCE but nothing show up when accessing video from menu, also the problem exist when attaching USB Hard drive to LMCE. i know the problem related to the Directories structure!!
i'm not familiar with Linux so please be patient!!!!
i read this topic but still didn't get it http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/How_are_media_files_organized%3F

ok from the root of the USB HD NTFS what folder should i create (my understanding i crate anything such c:\AAA) then what folder should i creat in the LMCE to map it.

Users / would you pay 150$ in a pice of remote control

i don't think its good idea to spend FiireChief 150$ in one remote control, since the remote always unsafe from children and from adult sometimes. i always change each remote in my home with new one, bottom line is that the remote life is not that long unless you are alone or you have very hairy carpet  .
also to spend 500$ in FiireStation is not wroth it since its china made and with 500$ you can complete system not "diskless station", i believe the price here will limit the growth of linuxMCE and Fiire product. Windows MCE remote will cost about 35$

i love LinuxMCE but that will not made me out of mind to go and buy such hardware, now im having problem with remote and i only have ATI RF remote and twinhan remote control which left unused in my home.

i wish that LinuxMce be more open for other Hardware and interface to give us the chance to buy with good options.
