Installation issues / Delay executing z-wave commands on Kubuntu 14.04
« on: February 13, 2016, 11:19:34 pm »
Hi,

I need some help for next issue: when I tried to turn ON/OFF change the intensity of the light dimmer (quibino) or for any other Z-wave scenario  I got a delay (1-2 minutes) before I will get the result. I don't know from where I should begin the troubleshooting ..If you can help me I will appreciate.

Maybe is useful the following part of log file (DCErouter.log):

Installation issues / Not able to add a rule in Firewall (kubuntu 14.04)
« on: February 13, 2016, 08:41:28 am »
Hello,

Please let me know if is any solution (workaround/patch, other snapshot)  for using the firewall of LinuxMCE (from lmce-admin). I'm not able to add any rule (inputs/ outputs/port forward) after I installed the snapshot of Kubuntu 14.04 (LMCE-1404-20160101124031783-i386.iso). I'm trying to open port 22 for SSH connection and also port 2757 & 3450 for Android qOrbiter.

Thank you in advance..

Users / Underfloor Heating via Z-wave ?
« on: February 12, 2014, 03:19:32 pm »
Hello,

Does anybody know how if is possible to control an underfloor heating by using a z- wave  network. Is about a house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one livingroom (aprox. 100 sqm) . I was thinking to use as temperature sensor (DS18B20 ) for each room, Z-Wave Universal Binary Sensor to "send" the inputs of the temp. sensors to the controller (Core-Linux MCE). On the controller will give the signal on/off to an electro-valves (using Danfoss Living Connect).
Please let me know if this is a good solution or if you know one better...

Thank you in advance .
