Installation issues / Re: 12.04 Web Admin Firewall
« on: April 11, 2016, 09:33:59 pm »
i see firewall has changed .. now u get it to work by doing ipv4 input NULL   NULL tcp NULL  173.167.212.xxx 3461:NULL ACCEPT 3461  not by orginal way ipv4 input eth0   voip tcp & udp 3461 3461 to 3461 173.167.212.xxx ACCEPT 3461.. is that a fawl or new way of doing firewall system?

phenigma I would agree but I had it correctly installed..but fail2ban depends on iptables working correctly. I did see when I had fail2ban install that there were more attempts on asterisk then with out it..
personal option to you brononius is use a ext. firewall. you be better off.

Users / question?
« on: February 21, 2016, 06:27:38 pm »
can lmce handle 48 ports on eth0?
if I take off 2 hdhomeruns no buffer issue with mythtv if 2 readded it buffers?

so I am thinking lmce can not handle all the load on eth0? eth0 runs e1000 gigbit Ethernet...dual card

that did not seem to work..
so I uploaded technical info on it..
http://www.filedropper.com/11technicalmanual
maybe some one could see if I am doing this wrong..
this what I tried.
made a new template for the projector.... selected generic serial device  control rs232c
then for power on and off I used the sendcommand('\xBE\xEF\x03\x06\x00\xBA\xD2\x01\x00\x00\x60\x01\x00\)

that did not seem to work.
but in tech manual says it has tcp port 23
when I try to telnet in that port it timesout
