Title: Adding a GT2XX nVidia card to your system
Post by: totallymaxed on February 19, 2010, 11:35:34 am
Hi,

Based on our work to add support for nVidia GT220 & above graphics cards to our Dianemo & Cascade products we have created a Wiki page to help forum members add support for these cards. The major configuration difference with these cards is that they do not have an on-board connector for injecting audio into the card from the motherboard as they have on-board audio processing hardware. See the Wiki page below for the steps needed to support these cards complete with PCM and 5.1/DTS surround over their HDMI connector;

All the best

Andrew

I added the GT220 to my core/hybrid because built-in GF 8300 doesn't fully support VDPAU and it doesn't work correctly with the latest nVidia drivers and VDR. But I have problem with it. Video doesn't work if HDMI out is selected. I can see the boot process but when LinuxMCE is loaded there is no video on my TV. The same situation with AVWizard. I don't see video when HDMI is selected.

Any suggestion how to fix that?

Thanks in advance.
