Title: is it possible to add XBMC onto linuxmce to manage multimedia files?
Post by: falcorn on October 24, 2009, 05:56:04 pm
I've seen XBMC media player. it seems good, it can also search on internet for images, cast and other info of video files stored on the disk. is it possible to add XBMC to manage video/audio files instead of the actual system?
many thanks
Bye

no.
lmce can do all the things you are asking about anyway, and even does it automatically under certain conditions.

Why would you do this? XBMC is not retargetable in any way, we have a UI, which runs on many different devices simultaneously throughout the house, and provides things that XBMC could and will never do.

Why doesn't somebody help me extend Orbiter for new rendering techniques?

I am getting _VERY_ tired of these posts.
