Trying to install LMCE 810 on an Acer Aspire R1600 and document the process here: http://wiki.linuxmce.com/index.php/Acer_Aspire_Revo_1600 (http://wiki.linuxmce.com/index.php/Acer_Aspire_Revo_1600) as that there didn't seem to be a running wiki link for this unit and it's now available in the us.
I tried following this: http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/MythTV#EXPERIMENTAL:_Update_MythTV_to_VDPAU_version_on_0810 (http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/MythTV#EXPERIMENTAL:_Update_MythTV_to_VDPAU_version_on_0810) posted in this topic: http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=8455.15 (http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=8455.15)
but get an error that libvdpau0 cannot be installed as experienced here: http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:l5vnFgHXS2wJ:https://launchpad.net/bugs/326720+libvpau&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us (http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:l5vnFgHXS2wJ:https://launchpad.net/bugs/326720+libvpau&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us)
Anyone else run into this? It looks like, from that post, that all you need to do is uninstall the previous versions of glx. Going to try this when I get home...

Nevermind- not sure what I did, trying to retrace my steps, but it's now working. Even nicer, I got the nvidia 190 drivers installed and got UI2 medium working- need to play with it some to see how it behaves, but not getting the "Unable to open OpenGL" is a big start.
Will hope to document as I go on.

I guess you mean the Revo R3600 right?

Right...that must be a US specific model number for the same machine; http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2009/06/25/review_desktop_pc_acer_aspire_revo/ (http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2009/06/25/review_desktop_pc_acer_aspire_revo/)
