Title: Script to recognize credits for movies/dvd
Post by: Gaute on August 19, 2009, 01:16:20 am
Hello!
Is it possible to write some kind of script witch can recognize when the closing credits of a movie begins? It will be usefull for hometheaters so for instance the lights goes partly on when it starts... the same would be intresting for dvd menues (so it recognize when a the movie actually starts)... Is it possible, or is it already made?

The 'Showtime' scenario already fades down the lights in an entertainment area where there is a TV or Projector when a DVD or TV is started...and fades them up again when the Movie ends. It does not detect the ending of the movie however... just that the media type has been stopped.

All the best
