Models 1212
models 1213
models 1219 (canadian french/english version)
all should be readily available on the marketplace today
A linux driver is being ceated for their use with Myth
Hauppauge HD PVR driver is on it way to being completed
follow this link to get the driver (was alpha stage when I read this)
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HD-PVR#HD-PVR_Driver_Compilation_Howto (http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HD-PVR#HD-PVR_Driver_Compilation_Howto)
This is the first of its kind. It does not need to bypass any encryption as it is recording the raw data from the component cables and records it as H. 264 codec requires 13.5 MB instead of the 19MB that mpeg-2 uses

This product has been shipping for at least 9 months now...its been discussed here numerous time. So far there are still no stable Linux drivers for it I'm afraid.

I have one and will keep revisiting the issue on a regular basis.
I will take a look at again soon, hopefully we can get this in 0810 but more likely it may need to push it off for an update or 0910 release.

As I recall the problem lies with myth integration, which won't be available until the .22 release. It's a neat product, though.

Yes .22 is needed for the integration but the driver support is still very unstable and it is this area that needs to move forwards significantly before this device becomes truly usable.

Looks as though MythTV is now fully supporting this Device. Driver may have stabilized.
