Title: mysql error-trying to access core
Post by: Avi on June 03, 2009, 12:18:01 am
Hi all I have a problem when i try to access the "core" from the admin page.
I get the following error:
Fatal error: mysql error: [1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '?' at line 1] in EXECUTE("SELECT FK_OperatingSystem FROM Distro WHERE PK_Distro=?") in /var/www/pluto-admin/include/adodb/adodb-errorhandler.inc.php on line 77

Note: All other sections on the admin page I can access.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Avi,

Are you on 710 or 810 variant?

I am using LMCE 710.

I also just noticed that in the admin page under ADVANCED->NETWORK SETTINGS I see the following message:

"No record in Device_DeviceData for Network Interfaces."

I don't understand because my internet connection works fine, its on eth1 as external and eth0 is internal for LMCE.

Sounds like your database is hosed.  Probably best to reinstall.

Hi Avi,

It sounds like MySQL is corrupted.

Did you just install 710 or have you been running for a while?

If you just installed 710 I would suggest a re-install.

Otherwise, there are ways of purging mysql and re-installing but I don't know if that would be a recommended course.

Maybe someone with more MySQL experience could guide you on this one.
