Title: configuring Logitech Mediaboard Pro keyboard (Bluetooth ps3)
Post by: skatingn330 on February 24, 2009, 03:17:05 am
I tried following the ubuntu "how to" in the following hyperlink, a couple users have gotten this keyboard to work successfully in kubuntu.

http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-setup-bluetooth-keyboard-and-mouse-in-ubuntu.html (http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-setup-bluetooth-keyboard-and-mouse-in-ubuntu.html)

When i scan for bluetooth devices while LMCE is running in the terminal, it doesn't find anything.

Am I on the right track, or is there a better way to get this device to work. I searched this forum and found that a couple of users were already using bluetooth keyboards.

I have just got the same keyboard
I get the same problem, nothing shows up.  I can connect manually using
Code: [Select]
hidd --connect 00:07:61:F6:E4:33
(replacing my MAC address with your own keyboards, if you want to try this)
but that has to be done every time the keyboard or core/MD is turned off.  It would be nice to be able to pair properly

For now, put that in your /etc/rc.local file.

It would be nice if someone could rewrite the Bluetooth Dongle code to be more permissive of HID devices, and take care of them.
