Boots and runs LinuxMCE UI1. No problem decoding DivX/XVID/MPEG. I mainly used it as a web browser in my kitchen for e-mails and office programs.
This is a WebDT 570LX 17" unit. It is a monitor with PC and speakers integrated into it. Perfect for a low profile computer in the kitchen, bed room, or nook. Great for web browsing, school work or office applications. In perfect working condition. Keyboard, mouse and power supply are included.

Hey, now that is a nice little unit. I am curious about CPU speed. If the speed is 1.2GHz or higher, it should play back SD content and normal videos quite well. Guess I could google the CPU.
As long as this device enables you to boot from network, I should think it would make a nice little kitchen/bathroom/bedroom MD. And the price is pretty nice as well. For a "self-contained" unit.
I would give it a try. See if you can net boot it. The only real concern I see is the low -end memory is 128MB, I would go with at a minimum 512MB, and most graphics cards can do UI1, then next question would be how well they handle video.
I look forward to see if you give this a try. I think it would fit nicely in my kitchen, or the dining room.

This unit does support network boot and will boot UI1. The processor however is 500MHz and it has 1GB of PC2700 DDR RAM.
