Title: compatible HD tuner card with non coax source
Post by: greenhornet on January 22, 2009, 06:00:50 pm
I have the newest DirecTV DVR (HR22).  It does not provide coax out.  My options are HDMI, composite or component.  I need a compatible tuner card that will handle input in one of those 3 formats and hopefully handle it well.  Keep in mind that I need to receive audio as well somehow, so a card with just a video RCA in will not be enough unless it also has a separate audio input.

I have combed the compatible list and from what pictures and specs I could find, most cards (even the HD ones) only have coax inputs.
Suggestions?

What about the hauppauge HD PVR?  Is it supported? http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hdpvr.html
