When I add a command to turn an MD on through the Advanced Scenario Wizard then the following is executed and the MD does NOT come on:
08 10/20/08 22:03:12.927 Received Message from 145 (Windows XP PC/tablet (Horiz) / Automation) to 48 (Bedroom MD / Bedroom), type 1 id 192 Command:On, retry none, parameters: <0x2aaad6003950>
In fact, this is required to make it come on:
08 10/20/08 22:03:40.484 Received Message from 145 (Windows XP PC/tablet (Horiz) / Automation) to 4 (General Info Plug-in / Entrance Hall), type 1 id 322 Command:Wake Device, retry none, parameters: <0x2aaad6003950>
Any ideas how I can do this in the wizard?
Thanks,
Chris

Just a guess, sending command Wake Device to General Info Plug-in doesn't help ? The problem in this case is how General Info plugin will know which one to wake.... Sometimes this info is gathered from what room the Orbiter is in... Not sure how this will work, but you can try to send exactly the command you saw in the logs... Sometimes it's important also who sends commands and what room sender is in... (see also my reply to your other similar thread)..
If you're sucessful, please update info on Wiki (maybe the best would be to have page about common scenarios used with LMCE) - for instance :

Ok, the solution is rather than choose the MD from the device list for the advanced command, choose the General Info Plugin, then choose Wake device as the command, then enter the MD id as the parameter.
It seems the other option was a Herring Rouge.
I'll update the wiki here:
