Title: Problems with Blackbird tarball
Post by: archived on February 08, 2006, 10:12:45 am
Hi Guys
I'm trying to install the blackbirddrivers on my Debian 2.6-kernel, but I'm having a hard time to understand what scripts to use in the scripts/ directory. Could you give me some hints? Do I need to patch my kernel source? The compiling gives me error halfway complaing on wrong structs etc..

/Jens

Our sources are a snapshot of the Video4Linux Mercurial tip and no longer a different branch. You need to have your uncleaned kernel sources accessible, or, if you use a stock kernel, have the distribution-provided kernel headers for your kernel. We build the modules with this command: "KDIR=/lib/modules/$(KERNEL)/build $(MAKE) -f Makefile -e" run in the v4l-dvb/v4l directory.
