Title: USB UIRT's in the EU ( Now Available !)
Post by: zug on June 10, 2008, 11:03:14 pm
Hi,
I have quite a few absolutely brand new USB UIRT 56k enchanced devices for sale. They work out of the box with Linuxmce. These retail at $55 + $20 handling and have been out of stock to EU customers for quite some time. I am selling these for £35 inc delivery to the UK.
I will have to check on the delivery prices to the EU.
If anybody is interested please pm me. I can accept Paypal, cheque or bank transfer.
Cheers,
Mark

Around 44 euros including delivery to EU at the current exchange rate.
Maybe slightly different depending on the country though.

I have some more USB UIRT's if anybody would like one?

I have had to revise pricing because of the exchange rate. ( The pound has took a hammering )
Current Prices :
£37 Including Delivery to anywhere in the EU, Switzerland and Norway. ( If you require postage to any other countries please contact me )

At current exchange rates this works out at 41 Euros each.

Payment can be done by Paypal, Google Checkout or by Bank Transfer
Thanks,
Mark

Ordered two first.
Then after waiting a few weeks I got worried and contacted Zug. I must tell that I thought I would never see my money again Or any of the usb-uirt I bought.
However.. Zug sent me two again after a few days and now they have arrived.

I just want to Send you my Thanks(again) and also show Here that this man is for real!
Thanks once again for an excellent service!
 :)

Best Regards
Johan

he finally got back to me and goods have arrived. :)

Now since this thing is a transmitter and receiver how should it be placed, because it needs to face the person with the remote but also face the entertainment unit to transmit to the other devices...

so red led facing the couch or the unit?

Get a small Xantech Emitter, and plug it into the USB_UIRT on one side, and glue it onto the IR receiver of the AV gear to be controlled.

My UIRT works just fine pointing into the room (red led towards the couch) without the Xantech emitters.  Of course, ymmv, if you have issues you should use the Xantech emitters as posde suggests.  Try it.

Bought one of these from Zug at the end of last year - works a treat.
Now I can use any remote in the lounge to control my XBMC setup.
Pleasure doing business with you (sorry it's taken me so long to post reply,
too busy playing with new toys ;D)
