Title: How to install Linuxmce in andlinux
Post by: The_Nightfly on April 11, 2008, 07:21:09 pm
Hi everyone,

I had problems with installing linuxmce by dvd, graphic drivers didn't match.
I did some searching and i finally came up with a solution: andlinux.

it installs itself in windows and uses all the drivers, so grphic and sound shouldn't be any problem.

BUT: How do I install linuxmce in andlinux. the shared folder is set and working, but I don't know the rest. Can someone help me? Thx

That may be a very tall order to pull off. LMCE uses a lot of low level services in specific ways that running on Windows may break. Its not just an application, its much more. However using andLinux for hosting a media director is a very interesting idea.

There seems just no other way for me, and I don't Know a bit about linux.

LinuxMCE DVD didn't work because of the drivers.

Is there any other way? Maybe installing anouter linux and adding linuxmce? Any ideas?
