For those of us attending LinuxTAG, do you think it would be a good idea to write up a (short paragraph) bio?

EDIT: Done.  If you are attending, send your bio to Bmac.

Ideally, we need 3 MD's and one Hybrid.  With this setup, we can do 3 simultaneous demos and still show 'Follow-Me'.

Insteon, ZWave, PLCBUS willl be added to the system as needed.

(and of course, we want TSCHAK'S MAME :))

I can also bring an LMCE capable laptop. I'll need it on the last day of the conference, but the rest of the days it can run as an MD.

EDIT:  Added, thanks Daniel!

Hi,

I could bring up to 3 converters to connect 120V - appliances to 240V.

Could you please post some more information about presenting LMCE at LinuxTag in Berlin ?

thanks
 Heiko

Heiermann,

I am bringing a big-ass 2000W Inverter.  That should be more than enough for all 120V devices. :)

Hey Guys,

are you going to  be around at linuxTag all days?I plan to check by and see thinsg working out.
I figured out, this would be cheaper to see an existing installation running, than buying the hardware on my own, just to get a look and feel ;O)
When are you starting, putting things together as the conferences starts on Wednesday 28th? *mejustnosy*

Greetings from Hamburg

Heiermann, Do your converters also convert to 60 Hz?  If so, that would be great if you could bring them!

UPDATE:

My Inverters DO NOT WORK with Insteon, they output SQUARE WAVES!!!
Heiermann, please PLEASE bring your converters, I just tested BOTH my inverters, and neither work...

Those of us from NA don't have anywhere else to go :)

DDamron, I doubt 120V at 50Hz will work with the insteon stuff.

If you have an isolation transformer that may clean up the inverter output enough for insteon.

I used to have a hospital grade one, but set mine on fire :(
