Title: VDR recording names truncated
Post by: chrisbirkinshaw on March 11, 2008, 10:40:49 pm

I am seeing things like "E" for "ER" and "Eastender" for "Eastenders" in the videos list for recorded TV shows. Is anyone else?

Think you can specify via VDR on-screen menu how the records should be named. In my case I have a problems with Russian names in the TV shows. They aren't displayed correctly by the system.

The names are just standard english characters, as per the examples I gave. It takes the last character off every recording when adding to the pluto db, but in the VDR admin page they look fine.

Chris,

I am seeing this too. It is UpdateMedia trying to make sense of the vdr recordings directory structure... and thats not quite debugged yet.
