Title: Nokia E65 as VoIP client with Asterisk HowTo
Post by: MarcoZan on December 31, 2007, 10:43:09 am
Hi all

I made a small howto in order to use a Nokia E65 (and I think in general also other similar phones) as a VoIP phone with Asterisk under LMCE.

I added it to wiki, you can find it here -> http://wiki.linuxmce.com/index.php/Nokia_E65

HTH

By the way, happy new year to all

Regards
Marco

works also for the E60 and E61. The SIP realm has to be the same value as set in sip.conf (default "asterisk").

best regards,
Hari

Hello,

I just installed my Nokia N95 using the Fring-Software. There you can also configure alternate SIP-Connections.
Works great.

This software is now available as an iPhone app and should work nicely.  I'll be trying this soon as I'm sure several people would like to use their iPhone with LMCE.

I should clarify that if I have good results it would only be usable as a sip phone, not a full blown orbiter.
