Title: Hauppauge cards - HVR-1100
Post by: archived on October 03, 2005, 01:07:06 pm
Hi,

I'm a bit new to this pluto thing! and am looking at purchasing a card for the test system i'll be installing soon.

Does anyone know if the HVR-1100 uses the cx88 chip (and is therefore supported?) it seems to be the same as a 250 but with digital thrown in as a bonus.  Could not find this info on the hauppauge site, but have emailed them - just waiting now!

Oh, and could not find any info about whether the card should go in the Core or MC, I guess its obvious when I actually come to install it all.

I searched Google and got to this page: http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_hvr1100.html. I didn't find any technical info on that page so I can't give you an answer. Sorry.
