Title: Any Nokia tablet users See this?

Looks interesting. I have not connected my Nokia 770 to LinuxMCE yet. I am still working out some home wifi issues.
I know the Nokia 770 can be an Orbiter, but could I watch live/recorded tv on it?

Regards,
Blair

I think watching video or listening to audio is currently not supported on these devices.  They should have the same functionality as the windows orbiters which is basicly control any media director in the house.

I was reading about this the other day, installation is still a bit tricky and functionaility is still limited, but you should be able to have mythtv frontend on at least the N800. You effectively need to setup gstreamer which streams the video/tv for you at a lower resolution that the nokia device can handle.

The linuxMCE orbiter will currently only act as an orbiter, allowing you to control things. This works really well but sort out your wi-fi first. I was having a lot of problems with it originally which turned out to primarily be issues with the wireless access point.

It would be well sweet if the N770 could be used to stream LMCE to in a similar way! I bet that would be a programming nightmare though!? I'm soon to install the orbiter software on mine (when I get a spare evening!), but it would be cool if another app could be developed to do something like that on the link...

True... but I cant see any reason why MaemoMyth could not be integrated and used as in the video clip alongside the Nokia Orbiter. Looks like a great app for the N800 and lmce ;-)

Hmmm....
