Title: Adding NTFS Hard Drive to LMCE
Post by: kyletrip on November 13, 2007, 01:00:59 am
I have a 400GB SATA drive with my music/movies on them. This was previously my Windows MCE drive, and I don't want to erase it. I added the drive and LMCE detected it. In the Audio/Video player, how do I get LMCE to look for the media on that drive?

Thanks,
Kyle

You can either wait for the 0710 release later this month to get full support.
or assign the lmce user to the .fuse group (I noticed during an install recently that the fuse group can mount NTFS partitions)
(I have no idea if it actually works, or what it does, never tried it, but you might want to try searching for NTFS and fuse on the Kubuntu/ubuntu forums)

Personally I would wait  ;)
