Title: Setting up Dynamic DNS in LMCE
Post by: cyf4746 on October 17, 2007, 06:42:03 pm
I registered a dyndns service. I had set all the variables in LMCE. But I still not able to access LMCE remotely via Internet. Do I need to install the dyndns client software? Please help.

I believe that LMCE has a client installed.  However, in the boot-process, it is stated that the service is not started, and that you must edit the config file to start it.  If you've done so (or if it's done automatically from the web-admin), then I'd look at the Remote Access settings in web-admin, and port-forwarding on any routers and/or modems installed between the Hybrid and the Net.

Good luck!!
