Title: Network reliability

i am planning to install linux mce as my main MCE device tonight - i was wondering what this is like with a network. At present i have windowns media centre 2005 and if i connect to my network sometimes it drops out or just does not work - i am hoping linux is a more stable platform!!!! i is tired of watching  a film for it to drop out because crappy MCE 2005 hates networks!!!!!!

well if it does happen, its not MCE, that almost sounds like hardware issue to me.
