Title: IRC on Freenode

   So I noticed that there is a #LinuxMCE channel on irc.freenode.org and I have been lurking there for a few days. For the most part it is pretty dead, but I have been answering the few questions that come my way. As I am still relatively new to the project my knowledge is limited but if anyone would like some live support for most installation related issues I am more than willing to try to help you out. I am generally online from 6:30AM-3:30PM EDT and sometimes more.

   If anyone would like to help out please stop by. Also if someone on this forum is the mod of the channel, please come in an hang out or deligate operator status to someone so that the channel can at least appear to be maintained.

Is there any explanation that the irc-channel is not officially promoted anywhere ? (wiki, homepage etc.)  ???

I would like to revive the irc-channel as it (IMO) is the most efficient way to support people.

I've made a BOT for the channel, but we need the password for the channel for it to gain full functionallity.

I will contribute with support when i have some sparetime, and i suggest that more experienced users will do too.

 Hi Guys,

 I'm keen on giving some support too, i've been playing around with pluto then lmce for few month now.
I even built some hardware for lmce.

 Please let us know once the irc channel is operational password etc.

The channel is up and running, we just dont have any privileges whatsoever. :(

We now have complete control over the channel.

Now we need to fill out a form for the freenode network.

This forum is now quite active,
Last night, I gave a demo on how to hack your IR remote control codes..
