Hi,
unfortunaly this try is painfull. I am sorry about some issues with this distro.
Sure I am working with Linux since Suse 5.1. , so I am not a Linux-noob, isnt it?
Please think about:
additional select-box (select tuner) in videocard-configurator
support for analog TV-cards with BT848 /878,Pinnacle and Hauppauge (tuner not recognised)
support for digital TV-card Hauppauge WinTV Nova C, Pinnacle PCITV-Sat
mediamanager for import of images (jpg) from CD,
import of mp3-files directly from media without of converting to ogg-files
place the Home-button everytime in the same corner (maybe greyed if nonfunctional)
place the KDE-Desktop-icon in mainmenu
allow removal of not needed dialogs i.e. for X10 automation, security and so on.
Keep it simple. I need only a Mediastation.
Insert,import,play. Delete unwanted files later.
If opening files from the internet, i.e. download videos in Firefox (flash,wma,mp3) store the in the mce-mediafolders .
Easy installation of KDE-support for other languages (kde-i18n-de or similar).
For now I have to stay at my iMac ans Suse-PC. Not so bad.
Cheers

add to your wishlist :)
- folder structure view option for video/audio/pics
- remember user selection i.e public or private folders
- read and show the file name as is
- show the file name size and duration before playing
- support for DVB-s cards
- expand the length of video seeking ruler to the size of screen
- slowdown the seeking inside the video when using gyro remote
- while playing next button should play the next file in the same folder
- slideshow/zoom/fit to screen images not there
- mp3s should have another skin or easy interface
thanks for listening to you users

So? what about other people?
- folder structure view option for video/audio/pics
Yes please, much needed, many many many vids here, and putting all files in one folder doesnt work well as all files are named different. I would think most people arrange vids by folders over individually named etc.

+1

+1
Taking a lot of getting used to I have to admit, but am loving it guys, your work (and expertise are appreciated)

Guys, I do support some of your wish-list...
however, trying to add a folder view really doesn't make sense especially when there is a much more powerful way of organising the media already present, in short..guys..tag your stuff....and use the search features.
