Title: Compatible GPU with GU2
Post by: Lerras on June 21, 2016, 04:57:22 am
I currently have a EVGA Geforce G210 with 1gb of ram. I can't get it to run with either UI2 (this is why my boot was hanging) I have tried updating drivers, believe they are 340.xx Geforce drivers. Is there another driver that will make the UI2 work with this card, or is it not capable with LinuxMCE, If this is the case, what cards do work, and I will return this to the pc i robbed it out of

I'm not going to be able to play with this for a few days as I'm doing days and evenings until Friday, but if I get something figured out i'll be sure to post a full summary for the record

This will not cause AVWizard to run unless you are on a 1004 or non-upgraded 1204 system.  The proper way to get AVWizard is to choose 'Video Res & Audio Setup' from the orbiter or to run '/usr/pluto/bin/RebootWithAVWizard.sh' from the console.

Ok, went back to an older driver, and that got gu2 alpha to load. It is not now presently working, but that was caused by myself deleting the core/hybrid orbiter file while trying to set up a tablet orbiter.
