There is new package available for 1404 i386
Tests are greatly appreciated.
-
for some reason after that update if I disable the ipv4 firewall I loose internet and if I add a port it comes up -c instead of ACCEPT and port not open...

Thanks for the feedback
-
Darkwizard864,
wich version of lmce are you running?
i can't verify your problem right now.
-
14.04 and lastest updates
-
I can verify this problem. It's a real pain in the ass. https://git.linuxmce.org/linuxmce/linuxmce/issues/2684

We have some new packages for 1404 i386 - apt update ; apt upgrade should bring you up to snuff to the latest.
This version is working for *me* - and I appreciate feedback. I am merely using it for simple portforwarding, so I am not real good tester.
-
and 1404 amd64 is online as well.
-
601c67da still does same thing here..
-
I enabled the firewall, put a single port in destination port, selected CORE WAN IP as destination IP, and have it working the way I want it.
Oh, and I reset the firewall first (using the button in web admin), and truncate'd pluto_main.Firewall via mysql.
See if that helps you to get port forwarding working. And Internet access working for the internal net. Once we have confirmed this working for everyone, we can attack the other open issues.
-
posde still nota
it adds the ports but not open.
advance settings still says -c
and disable firewall no connection to mds outside world.
-
The issue with disabling the firewall has been rectified but hasn't been made it into the repo yet.
Your screen shot looks interesting. My firewall page has the destination IP set, whereas yours is empty. That looks wrong.
-
it don't seem to add it
-
Interesting.
Did you already truncate the Firewall table, and reset the firewall using the link at the top of the firewall page? All I did was adding the Destination port, putting in a comment on the most right field, and clicked add. No more, no less.
-
yes I emptied the firewall table.
-
Darkwizard864,
clear the ipv4 firewall and do it without advanced setting on and see what it does then.
-
not working correctly .. not adding destination IP
-
What browser are you using? I have no issues with Chrome nor with Safari (on iPad)
-
ie 11 and firefox
-
Could you try Chrome or Safari and see if your problem persists
-
tried them same thing. tried Safari and chrome
-
What else is different?
I have a 1404 i386 core, that is up-to-date with the latest packages. I fill in the Destination Port, the description, and it works, because CORE WAN IP is pre-selected.
-
do you use static ip?
-
Darkwizard864,
i use firefox without problems.
Darkwizard864 what do you select on Destination IP?
-
I leave it as is I fill in port and name
and hit add
-
Darkwizard864,
what is the outcome off:
sudo apt-cache policy pluto-website-admin
and from:
sudo apt-cache policy pluto-boot-scripts

Darkwizard864,
you are not up to date with pluto-website-admin and pluto-boot-scripts.
and maybe more packages.
-
ok hmm I did apt-get update
I figure why it isn't updating
thank you for help
-
Darkwizard864,
YW.
-
Darkwizard864,
for a update do:
sudo apt-get update
and followed by:
sudo apt-get upgrade
-
I did that it works now but updated the kernel lol ..
-
If it upgraded the kernel, you didn't do what alblasco wrote.
-
We have updated packages for 1404 i386 and amd64, as well as 1204 i386, and 1604 i386 available for upgrades.
Port forwarding works for me. And disabling the firewall works again like it is suppose to work as well. Feedback is appreciated.
