Title: 12.04 audio issues - Closed
Post by: pigdog on May 07, 2014, 03:48:01 pm
Hi,

I messed up my system doing some tests and reloaded snap 2014/04/16 28950 from scratch, did an update/upgrade.

My audio is not functional.

AlsaMixer v1.0.25 shows my Card: HDA NVidia Chip:SigmaTel 92HD206X

lspci shows Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation MCP72XE/MCP72P/MCP78U/MCP78S High Definition Audio (rev a1)

Original install NVidia was the audio chip pci 07 and I was analog stereo.

I restarted AVWizard - now have AVWizard Failed to setup X message.

Will reload from scratch.  Test system.  If successful will update/upgrade to see if something there is an issue.

Cheers.

Hi,

Got audio back after doing a reload but still had the strange alsamixer settings.

I tried to install nvidia driver but was totally unsuccessful.  This was covered in another topic.

Cheers.
