I noticed l3mce saying that there are only a few open tickets left for 10.04. So I wondered a little, because I remember a ticket for Asterisk for example, where no telephonenumbers show up for incoming calls.
I keep my system up to date, but I still have this issue (aside not being able to call to outside of the coutnry and mythtv constantly crashing) my only standing issue.
So is this fixed and if so, how can I get it to work here?
-
The ticket was closed as the original creator of the ticket did not answer questions, and others have working CLI
-
so, do you think installing from scratch might change things for me?
-
i have the incoming numbers work, and maybe i can help you identify your problem .
please describe how you setup your lines
-
my setup is pretty straight forward:
I have a internetrouter (AVM Fritz!Box) that also receives all incoming calls. I registered asterisk via webadmin as a IP-Phone and thats it.
Since I was unable to make international calls, I hooked up another IP-Phone directly to the box, bypassing lmce- and I can call anywhere in the world and see the incoming phone-number.
The only other thing I did, was the dial-out prefix in lmce is "0".
-
you can check if the box send caller id via sip-info or p-asserted-id
and send asterisk log for incoming call
-
thanks for the help...I will check this, when I find the time and report back
-
Sorry for taking so long to reply...but its a busy time for me right now.
Anyways, I checked Asterisk.log when I called my line from my cellphone and this here is all I could find so far:

The interesting part is, that I have another sipphone hooked to the fritzbox parallel to LMCE, but there I get callerid shown, so clearly the box is sending them. Unfortunately I was so far unsuccessful in finding out how it is sending them.

Maverick
That is not what i need. Here is how to collect the needed logs: launch asterisk -r from your core type: core set debug 0 type: core set verbose 999999
And then make an incoming call from your landline.
-
I did as you suggested....I attached the log from the call I made...I hope I got it all
-
from your log i can see any sip info about call .
please try to enable sip debug
asterisk -r
sip set debug on
core set verbose 999999
and post log again
-
here you go
-
ok now i can see .
the number 015253968856
is you CID ?
-
my cellphone
-
ok
make a backup of file /usr/pluto/bin/db_phone_config.sh
and use the new one i have attached .
change permission to 777 and run the script .
that try to call and verify that linuxmce show correct CID
-
I tried it out, but for me its not working...I still get "unkown" as callerid :-(
-
you can post logs again
-
i have same problem but no incoming calls can be made. it says this error
[Dec 19 14:40:53] WARNING[11802]: pbx.c:5119 __ast_pbx_run: Channel 'SIP/14849921113-00000006' sent into invalid extension '101' in context 'custom-linuxmce', but no invalid handler
-
you have configured Phone Lines | Incoming Call Settings to ring extensions ?
-
yeap
-
how your lines is configured ?
and please post your log files
how to collect the needed logs: launch asterisk -r from your core
type: core set debug 0
type: core set verbose 999999
type: sip set debug on
-
what part of log do you need?
i not gona post up my private number with log.
i am on mirc as koffel if you want talk to me on there.
-
why don't you just replace the number of yours with a nonsense number in the logs? Is that too much work for you? Or is the idea too brilliant?

thank you
one more think you can check on database asterisk if you have record like this
from-lmce-custom | 101 | 1 | AGI | lmce-phonebook-lookup.agi
use this query to check
select * from extensions where context like '%from-lmce-custom%' limit 15;

this is all it shows

dcerouter_1029653:/usr/pluto/bin#

I think that script was edited with microsomething.
Attached one without invisible formatting, and also found a problem in what was line 416
('$context','$phonenumber','16','Goto','custom-linuxmce,$line,1');"
It should not close like that, it is half way through a list. I changed it to
('$context','$phonenumber','16','Goto','custom-linuxmce,$line,1'), \

Pff... never apologize for helping fix/troubleshoot asterisk... I don't understand the first thing about it... I was just looking at format.
On that subject... still think you need an \ at the end of 416

The script is responsible for creating the db_create_dialplan.sh

I sent you a PM cfernandes.
Is this something I need to fold into the existing source? I was asked to close the ticket, and a works for one guy is not really how that should work... or was his situation a one off problem?
-
L3mce
this a really a problem so that the caller ID is displayed.
for me, the caller ID is passed by p-asserted-id (Grandstream HT-503)
SPA3102 and some voip provieders uses to sip reader (FROM)
I must make this script better.

Hello my friend,
I'm very sorry for not showing up here earlier, but the last days in the office had been very busy to say the least- plus I did a complete reinstall, because Mythtv was getting worse day by day.
Now that those things have been sorted, I tried the latest script from this thread and it worked :-) I now have incoming calls showing the proper callerid. The only thing I haven't tried yet, is making international calls from LMCE.
Thank you for your good job and I wish you a very happy new year!
-
I'm glad to hear that worked for you.
Wishing you and your entire family and all of LMCE very Happy New Year!
