Title: streaming from cellphone
Post by: maverick0815 on October 15, 2011, 11:53:22 am
I got a fancy new android-powered cellphone, which has a very nice feature..you can send pictures and stream videos via wifi to your DLNA-TV. Is it possible to accomplish this with Linuxmce or would this be a feature-request?

Um...a bit confused here. If the tv and the phone are on the same network, lmce should have nothing to do with the equation. You should be able to connect to the tv from the software on the phone, assuming its compatible. One thing ive found out about dlna, its claims to be a universal spec but rarely is it so.

okay...I understand....on the other hand I was more or less thinking of streaming to an md or something like that...I personally don't have a DNLA-TV, because having LMCE kinda would make this superfluous. Thats why I was wondering if this could be done from the cell to the md.
