Title: Custom web 2.0 orbiter screen size.
Post by: tux-box1 on August 17, 2011, 03:13:28 am
Hey been looking around I didn't see a post on this.

I wanted to know if their was a way to make your own screen size option, in the size selection options, in the orbiter size selection. I see almost everything their, but what if I have a web device that has a resolution that's not listed. Can I make my own sized screen web orbiter?
I see under the advanced settings their is a "ScreenWidth", "ScreenHeight". Are these text boxes designed with the idea of put your screen resolution here in mind? If they are do we just forget the pick you size option on the other page?
Thank you.

I have read something about this in the wiki, you have to insert some data into a database table. Can't find the page atm..

This wiki page has useful infomation and example sql to insert new resolutions into the DB http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Custom_Display_Resolutions#Orbiter_size (http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Custom_Display_Resolutions#Orbiter_size) in section 2.2/2.3 specifically

All the best
