after searching i have found a programme called winetricks. Is this the correct procedure to take to get bittorrent working?
Thanks
Dan

why don't you use torrentflux?
-
Thanks for the low down.
Can you please confirm that to install torrentflux correctly I should follow the install discription at the link below...
http://wiki.linuxmce.com/index.php/Torrentflux
Also how do you have Torrentflux running. Do you know if it is possible to have the pro gramme setup so that it behaves like the description for bit torrent installation of:
# torrent client that is always running right on the core
# add new and monitor torrents from a web browser (i.e. works in a headless configuration)
# completed downloads automatically show up in media library
Thanks for your time.

I don't have torrentflux running on my setup as I don't need it, but I have tested it a while ago. Following the wiki is always a good idea...
As I remember there was a plugin for firefox which would automatically send torrenddownload requests to a server (the core).
Torrentflux will always be running if you start it by the startup scripts.
Torrentflux has a webpage for add and monitor torrents.
I'm quite shure you can specifie the download path as well.
