Does linuxmce provide drivers? (if yes, where?)or does it use the Kubuntu drivers?

What do you mean with "Provide drivers"?
LinuxMCE is Kubuntu with special scripts and programs.

Yes , it is so. But as with every Linux, there are problems with specific cards. I would say best supported are INTEL and NVIDIA graphics.
go to http://wiki.linuxmce.org (http://wiki.linuxmce.org) and search for NVIDIA or ATI to get more info.

That means that you can just install linux drivers for the video cards, i know AMD provides linux drivers for ATI cards

tyger,

you can install whatever driver you want. But, LinuxMCE's configuration of the driver needs to be disabled (see wiki for details), as the configuration scripts only work for nVidia cards.
