Title: Tickets to be closed - verified working or not applicable anymore
Post by: Techstyle on September 01, 2010, 03:21:28 am
In an earlier thread, help was requested closing out tickets by confirming they are fixed or not applicable anymore.

I took a look at the ones I opened accompanying some device templates I created and they are still open and I cannot close them, therefore I thought I would start a thread for anyone who also opened a ticket or knows of one that needs closing because it is not applicable or fixed.

If the Devs would prefer this to be handled in a different way or in a different section of the forums feel free to let me know or move it/change it.

Please post your ticket number to be closed and how these were tested:

Here are a few tickets that have been fixed and can be closed.

And here are a few with tested patches that can be applied and then closed

Edit: Took #860 - Add pnp detection script for ZWave devices (http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/ticket/860) off this list till I can confirm it works properly on a media director. (Only tested it on my core)

I've added patches to a couple tickets that were marked as 'Defect'. Could these tickets be updated to 'Defect Patch'?

If there is anything I can do to help get these tickets resolved/closed please let me know.

http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/ticket/838 - from the comments i think it can be closed but im not 100% sure
http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/ticket/806 - can be fixed easily, remove those links from the download page

Please don't close 838.  The sqlCVS batches were approved, but I still need to work out how to get a new HID driver installed with the system.  I've added a comment to the ticket to make that clearer.

Thanks
Eric

im sorry esev, i didnt mean to step on your toes there.

I know everyone can look up the stats but i thought it would be good to see what tickets are left for 0810

Open tickets for:
Defect: 50
Task: 20
Feature_Patch: 50
Defect_Patch: 6
Feature_Release: 20

No worries. :)  Glad to see someone is looking over these.

It might be worth pushing 838 off to the 1004 release.  There is a documented workaround on the wiki (http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Gyration_GYR4101US#Current_Workaround) for 0810.  I suspect Kubuntu 1004's stock HID driver will be sufficient, in which case this will be a quick fix.
