Title: Ticket Solved What now?
Post by: Thingie on July 05, 2010, 10:07:07 pm
Hi,

This is probably a very stupid question but I have to ask it. A while back I made a ticket for a problem I had wit the orbiter. http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/ticket/586#comment:6 (http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/ticket/586#comment:6)
Now the ticket is solved and I get an email pointing me to the changes made for fixing the problem. http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/browser/branches/LinuxMCE-0810/src/Media_Plugin/Media_Plugin_Grids.cpp?rev=23145 (http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/browser/branches/LinuxMCE-0810/src/Media_Plugin/Media_Plugin_Grids.cpp?rev=23145) I'm very thankful for the solving of the problem but I don't know what to do whit it. Can I edit a file with the new code or do I wait for an update?

Thx in advance

Thingie

Once a ticket has been resolved, we place a package to be compiled on the LinuxMCE-0810-beta2 page.

Posde, our release manager will start a new build. Once a complete build has been done, he will move the new packages, as specified by the package lists on this page, move them into the APT repository, and rebuild the repository. The resulting packages will then be available on the next apt-get update and upgrade, and will consequently be available on the DVD snapshots. Once this has been done, he updates the Beta2 page, to reflect the new release number, which corresponds to the current SVN revision.
