i have installed linuxmce with the dvd version 810 beta 2, the MD5 is OK
During the installation everything seems normal, the systeme asks me to remove the DVD and I arrive then at the desk kde, but when I click the icone Linux mce, I meet on command line, I enter then my user's name and my password but I remain then on command line. It is normal? That have to I make?

Bonjour.

Did you run...

Code: [Select]
sudo su -
apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

...before clicking the LinuxMCE icon?

Katung Katung,

Douglas_fr It is better if you stick to English
Also for other forum members, who may stumble on the same problem, or people who cannot help now.
Also it is better for you to learn English (both) by doing, it will make you more competitive on the labour market.

Which DVD install did you do? Where did you download it?
It is better to try the latest snapshot.

For me LinuxMCE-8.10-22891-i386.iso 24-Apr-2010 16:16  3.7G  worked, but it is always best to take the newest.

Aufwiedersehen.
