fix the way LinuxMCE(Pluto?) sorts albums?
« on: July 29, 2007, 02:31:39 pm »
on albums wich has manny diferent artists/performers on it the mce show one album for each of these artists and makes it hard to just select an album to play that one, is there anny way to fix this?
It is _werry_ annoying and makes listening to manny of my albums a nightmare, I don't have this problem in say, WinAMP's medialibrary and the album names are correctly enterd.

A user has done some good work on this. If you look at this thread http://forum.linuxmce.com/index.php?topic=1726.0 there are instructions. Try it and see if it helps. Probably won't address all of your issues.

I had already read that thread but found nothing there about this, this is albums I already have as MP3 and FLAC, and the MP3 files have Propper ID3v1/v2 tags.
And the files are sorted like:
/path to music/artist(VA if more than one artist)/albumname/albumname-tracknumber-artist-songtitle.mp3
